Donald Trump Wives

There never seemed to be a special woman in Trump's life for many of his early years. He was good looking, successful, and determined, all qualifications that attract women in droves, but Trump remained focused on building unique real estate in Manhattan until he met Ivana.

Ivana was born Ivana Marie Zelníčková in Czechoslovakia, immigrated to Canada to escape communism. Managed to make her way to the United States through hard work, determination, and the ability to ski well enough to join the Olympic games. These traits alone made her stand out alongside the spoiled liberal women of New York whom Donald was accustomed to. Ivana understood what it meant to feel trapped financially and by class. She had the heart to take her opportunities in the United States to infinity. She earned her master's in physical education, but her education did not end there. She also studied decorating and business, which would prove to be useful to the Trump empire.

In the early '70s, Ivana was married to a fellow skier, but the marriage was later reported to be in name only so as to help Ivana attain citizenship and keep the communist leaders off her tail. She met Trump at a singles bar on the upper east side of Manhattan while promoting the Olympic Games.

After dating for a year, Donald and Ivana married on Easter Sunday April 7, 1977. It was a grand and lavish ceremony that became the major society event of the decade. After their wedding, the Trumps were a solid business team, taking on major projects such as the construction of the Grand Hyatt Hotel and Trump Plaza, and just one year after their marriage, Donald Trump Jr. was born. The couple would eventually have three children together who would grow up to be solid and accomplished citizens just like their parents.

Donald Trump was both handsome and wealthy at this time of his life, but, even more important to a young lady like Ivana, he had a heart and regularly helped out people in need. Trump's good deeds in the 70s were admirable, but not very news worthy due to he not being a celebrity yet, but young Donald Trump would periodically be moved by stories of poor people losing their homes and take great delight in stopping the banks from foreclosing by paying off their mortgages for them. He would have mortgage burning ceremonies in which the whole neighborhood would become involved.

Ivana was more than just a beautiful face with charming personality, she was a powerful force who helped boost Donald to celebrity status. She was vice president of interior design for the Trump Organization and the president of the Trump Castle Hotel and Casino. What's more, Ivana gave birth to three wonderful children during this time. Donald's ultimate joy.

However, even a high-powered woman like Ivana needed a break. In the early 1980s, Ivana informed Donald that she wanted more time with the children. Donald cut his wife loose from her positions in Atlantic City, but asked her to take over as president of the Plaza Hotel in Manhattan. Ironically, years later when Trump was running for POTUS the liberal media tried to trick Americans into believing that Donald Trump was sexist and that he had no respect for women. His wife was running his massive organizations in the 70s when very few women headed even small organizations. He was even criticized by liberal leaders at that time for letting "a woman have that much power."

They divorced in 1992.

On July 14, 2022 Ivana passed away of cardiac arrest after falling down the basement steps (age 73).

IVANA Trump had four marriages throughout her life:

1)   Alfred Winklmayr 1971, for the "sole purpose" of arranging her emigration from Czechoslovakia. after a mandatory waiting period, the marriage was "dissolved" in August 1973

2)   Donald Trump 1977

3)   Riccardo Mazzucchelli 1995

4)   Rossano Rubicondi 2008
