Dear Folks This slideshow is a life story tribute to my father Harry Wolever. He was a veteran of world war I, serving with the U.S. army in France. Awarded the Purple Heart. Originally based upon the letters he sent home to the folks during his WWI active service in the army. Most of the letters are narrated by Bob Wolever, my voice is on the last few. Cathy Church narrates a poem. I started adding pictures and maps and information relating to his letters and the war. It didn’t end there, I continued with his life after the war. If viewed in total with programmed slide intervals, it runs more than 4 hours. However, tools are provided for manual advancing or skipping. Click below to begin the download of the zip file (dearfolks.zip) containing the slideshow files. When the download is complete (213mb), extract all the files and execute the “start.exe” to begin the slideshow presentation. 1.
When the download is
complete (216mb), “Open file”

Double click on “dearfolks.zip”
3.
Click “Extract
all”
4.
Then “Extract”
at bottom of “Select a Destination and Extract Files” window

Double click “dearfolks”
6.
Finally double click
“start.exe” to begin the slideshow presentation.
While viewing the slideshow there are
options for skipping backward, pausing, skipping forward, controlling sound
and exit. Move curser to display the following control bar at bottom of
display:
